Introduction:
The itel P40 Plus is a feature-packed smartphone that offers an impressive combination of performance, battery life, and design. The itel P40 Plus is a device that comes with a lot of bells and whistles, and sports rather solid specs for what amounts to an entry-level price. Key highlights of the itel P40 Plus include:
- Large 6. 8 Inch HD Plus, display with 90Hz Refresh rate for smooth scrolling and viewing
- Unisoc T606 eight-core processor for high-performance computing, coupled with 4GB RAM for unintermitted switching between applications
- Large non-removable battery of 7000mAh which can easily give a days of usage on a single charge and supports 18W fast charging.
- Back dual cameras with a 13MP main camera for taking high-quality photos.
- 8MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies
- Android 12 operating system with support for face unlock and side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security

The likely price rate of this phone is Rs. 27,999 for Pakistan and Rs. 6,690 for India, which can put it in the best range of smartphones at the same standard. Thus, the itel P40 Plus boasts a high capacity of features and its price means the company will succeed in selling a large number of smartphones to the eager consumers.
The itel P40 Plus is a budget smartphone that offers decent features for its price point. Here are some of the key pros and cons:
Pros:
- Large 7000mAh battery that provides excellent battery life
- 6.8″ 90Hz IPS LCD display with good image quality and viewing angles
- 128GB storage and 4GB RAM (expandable to 8GB) provides ample storage and smooth multitasking
- Comes with the latest Android 13 out of the box
- Good performance for the price with Unisoc T606 chipset
- Affordable price of around $100
Cons:
- Some users report issues with the battery, with the phone shutting off around 2-28% battery
- Fingerprint sensor issues, with some users reporting it stopped working after a few months
- No auto-brightness adjustment, requiring manual brightness control
- Camera quality is average, especially for video recording
- Unclear if it will receive future Android updates beyond 13
- Some users complain of overheating while charging
Conclusion:
The itel P40 Plus mirror smartphone belongs to the budget class and has impressive characteristics compared to the cost of the device. There are some downsides including subpar camera compared to the competition, quality control can be an issue at times but it is by far the best bang for your buck.
In my opinion, the itel P40 Plus is the best phone for the budget conscious but they want a smartphone with many features. But the budget-conscious buyers may not mind this issue, especially when other features of the design will compensate it, with other models costing a little more offering better camera quality and sturdier construction. I have not had any quality control problems that include battery or issues with the fingerprint sensor on the itel P40 Plus. Are you willing to choose the itel P40 Plus against other low costing smartphones in the market?
