The Realme 13 4G is expected to be an upcoming smartphone, which has not yet been officially released and presented by Realme in Indonesia on the 8 th of August in the year 2024.
Despite being a low-end phone, it boasts better features. For example, it has a 6000mAh battery and a larger screen size of 6 inches. A screen size of 67- inches, resolution of 1080p OLED, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 2000 nits of peak brightness.
The gadget comes with a Qualcomm of Snapdragon 685, owns 8GB RAM, and it possess ROM of up to 256 GB with an expandable slot. The main panel on the back consists of three lenses. Specifically, there is a 50 MP lens with OIS, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 16 MP front camera.
Other is a Biometrics system that includes an Under Display Fingerprint Scanner and a Heart Rate Sensor, Rain Water Touch that enables you to operate the phone when the screen is wet, and an IP54 rating for dust and water protection. The battery capacity provided is equal to 5000 mAh. Furthermore, it supports 67W fast charging.
Realme’s 4G variant of the series called Realme 13 4G starts at IDR 2,999,000 (~RM838) and is available in two colours only. The 5G version of the device has received certification from SIRIM in Malaysia; however, there is currently no indication regarding the device planned for other markets.
For some user, the Realme 13 4G is an ideal smartphone for them though it may not be perfect for others. Here’s a breakdown of its pros and cons:
Pros
- Display Quality: Includes a 6. A full HD plus 43 inches Amoled screen with a 120 Hz refresh and 1080 x 2400 pixels for highly saturated colors.
- Performance: Packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC and 8 GB RAM the phone is appropriately good at managing day to day activities with a hint of gaming.
- Battery Life: This device has come with a 5000mAh battery with wattage fast charging solution of 67W for faster recharging times and longer hours of use.
- Storage Options: Comes with 256 GB of ROM which should be enough for the majority of customers, and uses micro SDXC card slot.
- Design Features: Comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner – a fancy feature that will make users delight.
Cons
- Limited Network Support: It is a 4G only gadget and it does not support 5G; this can be a drawback for people who want the device to have a very advanced connection in the future.
- Camera Limitations: The camera system you get on this device includes a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP turbo depth sensor that might not impress photography lovers as much as other devices’ cameras.
- Absence of NFC: That is, NFC might not be very useful, especially when it comes to mobile payments or connecting the smartphone to another device.
- No FM Radio: One can even distinguish a lack of FM radio tuner – it might be an issue for those individuals who like listening to the local broadcasts.

The Realme 13 4G is another Indonesian smartphone that has top-notch features for a quite reasonable price. With its 6. OLED of 67 inches, Snapdragon 685, up to 256GB storage and triple rear camera setup and is good enough for the starting price of IDR2,999,000 (~RM838). The three features I’m really looking forward are Under-display fingerprint scanner, Rain Water Touch, and the IP54 rating which makes is stand among other devices in its category. Other is a battery of 5000mAh with fast charging 67W. Although it is still rather ambiguous if the device will become available in other countries, recognition of the 5G version in Malaysia presages the device’s worldwide launch.
