Introduction to the Samsung Galaxy F05

The Samsung Galaxy F05 is what could be termed as the company’s latest entry-level Android smartphone that was recently unveiled for the market on September 17, 2024, and with a projected sales date of September 20th. It has a stylish design, with a leather-like finish at the back and it comes in only one color, Twilight Blue. It is running on MediaTek Helio G85 Chipset and has 4GB of RAM which can be expanded virtually up to 8GB.

The Galaxy F05 comes equipped with a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD large display, which perfectly fits a woman’s palm with proper grip. It also has a combination of 50MP primary and 2MP depth-sensing cameras at the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera. This smartphone is based on Android 14, equipped with One UI of Samsung, and it has one internal memory which is 64 GB but it is also possible to expand it via microSD. There is a fairly powerful 5,000mAh battery on board that supports 25W fast charging. However, no charger is included.

The Galaxy F05 is yet another Samsung smartphone offering an affordable yet feature-rich experience to customers for Rs. 35,841/-only.

• Design: The main design of the phone is a leather pattern which gives it a beautiful outlook to the users.

Cons

• 5G support: The Galaxy F05 lacks 5G support. This may be a drawback for users seeking future-proof connectivity. Many consumers now prioritize devices with 5G capabilities.
• FM Radio Absence: The absence of an FM radio function is a notable disadvantage. This feature is available in some competing models.
• Performance Limitations: It is driven by the MediaTek Helio G85 chip, which, according to its performance, may not suit heavy gaming or multitasking compared to other models equipped with better processors.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy F05 enables the users to choose an affordable though qualitative smartphone with a 6.7-inch HD+ screen, MediaTek Helio G85, Dual Cam, and 5000mAh battery. Introduced at 35,841, it is aimed at affordable market segment users who expect a good performance and number of features. For me, the Galaxy F05 is suitable for basic users, which are interested in a beautiful, but not very expensive smartphone. Still, the absence of 5G connectivity might be a drawback for the future use of the device.
