Introduction:
Samsung Galaxy M04 is an improved version of the new budget Samsung Smartphone model Samsung M series and the new addition to this series by the Samsung Company is the Samsung Galaxy M05 model, which it recently launched in the Indian market. There is also a MediaTek Helio G85 processor to power it which is a performance improvement as compared to MediaTek Helio P35 used in the previous model. In to this we have also a MediaTek Helio G85 as the processor to power it and this is a better processor than the MediaTek Helio P35 of the previous model.
Such a diminutive approach does not surprise me as far as the design of the device concerned since it has 6. 7 inch HD+ LCD panel along with 4 GB of RAM and the internal storage of 64 GB which is again not expandable with a Micro-SD card.
Regarding the camera, Samsung Galaxy M05 has a configuration of the rear camera which comprises of 50 MP main camera and 2 MP Depth camera while it is has 8 MP Selfie camera. The smartphone offers a capacity of 5000mAh battery with coming with 25W fast charging technology and therefore its usability in extended usage.
The Samsung Galaxy M05 is Android 14 based Samsung OneUI Core 6 out of the box. It has other bonuses like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802. 11ac, and Bluetooth 5.3. The Watch will retail at 28, 000 (approximately $ 100) thus targeting the low-end market with a powerful punch in performance-to-price ratio.

Cons of Samsung Galaxy M05
- Only available in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration
- Lacks 5G connectivity
- Does not include a charger in the box
- Misses out on a fingerprint sensor, which may be a dealbreaker for some users

- Plastic build quality may not feel premium
- HD+ resolution screen may not be as sharp as FHD+
Conclusion
Samsung Galaxy M05 is an Android Go mid-range smartphone which is equipped with a spacious 6. It features 7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, a dual-camera module which includes a 50 MP primary camera and a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
It comes with Android 14 up and running, already with Samsung’s One UI Core 6. 0 and supports dual 4G VoLTE |Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Currently being sold for approximately $100 it plans to offer a good performance per cost ratio.
In my opinion, Samsung Galaxy M05 is quite reasonable if you are targeting keypad option with focus on battery backup and large screen size. However, absence of 5g connectivity and promising fingerprint sensor may act an obstacle for some of the users. Moreover, unlike some similar products it is very light and made out of plastic, the screen has an HD+ resolution which may not make it seamed premium.
Is the Samsung Galaxy M05’s performance-to-price ratio enough to justify its limitations? How important is 5G connectivity to you in a budget smartphone?
