Introduction:
The vivo iQOO Z9 Lite is a rumoured smartphone in the budget 5G segment expected to launch in India on July 15, 2024. It is assumed that will be the base version of the iQOO Z9 series, to which the standard iQOO Z9 and iQOO Z9x belongs. It is claimed that the iQOO Z9 Lite is going to be the Indian avatar of the Vivo T3 Lite.
According to leaks, it will run MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Soc and come with a 50-MP Sony AI + other sensors on the back. It is expected to be available in two color options: Brown and Blue. The situation is ceratinly not going to be different with the iQOO Z9 Lite as the T3 has a large battery, high resolution touch screen and having a camera solution that includes all types of cameras. However, official specifications and details will be released on the device on the 15th of July, 2024. It is believed that the starting price of the iQOO Z9 Lite could be within ₹12,000 or even below it which would categorize the device within the 5G segment.
Pros:
- Powerful performance with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, scoring 414k on AnTuTu
- 50MP Sony AI primary camera
- IP64 rating for splash resistance and dustproofing
- Large 6,000mAh battery
- Stereo speaker setup
- Sleek design
Cons
- Only HD+ LCD display, no AMOLED
- 90Hz refresh rate, not higher
- Likely to have some bloatware pre-installed
- Camera quality may not be best-in-class
- Unclear if it will get more than 2 major Android updates
Conclusion:
Vivo iQOO Z9 Lite is another new affordable 5G smartphone that the company is bringing to markets to provide customers with top-notch performance along with decent camera, display, and battery without costing too much. The iQOO Z9 Lite features a 2.0GHz MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. Moreover, it has a 50MP Sony AI primary camera. Additionally, the phone boasts an IP64 dust and water resistant rating, a 6000mAh battery, and stereo speakers. Consequently, the iQOO Z9 Lite could well be value for money. However, the HD+ LCD display and the possibility of bloat ware could be a let down for some people.
In my opinion, I found the iQOO Z9 Lite to be a perfect choice for those are willing to save money but at the same time they expect a modern gsm phone with good performance and acceptable quality of the camera. The large battery and stereo speaker setup are plus which is always a nice perk. However, those who value the quality of the cases displayed and timely software releases should probably look elsewhere. What is more important for you, the battery capacity and stereophonic speakers in the smartphone? Do you think the iQOO Z9 Lite is better than other other affordable 5G smartphones available in the market?
