The HMD Atlas is an upcoming android companion device to the already released HMD Skyline smartphone or Vanewta smartphone. One leaked render or the Atlas presents the handset to have a slim form that is compact; it takes a leaf from the Nokia Lumia 920. As of yet, there has been little information on the details, however, speculation tells us that the Atlas will have entry-level specs designed for day-to-day usage, thus being cheap which will appeal to the crowd looking for a device that will give them the bare necessities of a smartphone without having to spend much. Still, the device is expected to embody the budget segment while still keeping up with HMD’s reliability and quality.
Considering that the price range of the HMD Atlas is rather low, the mid-range smartphone could take a slice of the market presenting itself as a reliable option that performs well for the price. In contrast with a higher-end HMD Skyline there was expectation as to how the Atlas is going to fit into its twin brother gadget. Among new smartphones, there is HMD Atlas which seem to be interesting and also equipped with many advantageous features for $239. 99.
Here are the key pros and cons:
Pros:
- 6. An impressive 64-inch IPS LCD panel with resolution of 1,080 x 2, 400 pixels, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Equipped with excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor as well as 8 GB of RAM to run it
- High performance photography with primary camera, 48MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide, and 16MP selfie camera.
- Huge battery capacity of 5,500mAh battery with an option for QuickCharge 4. 0 for long-lasting usage
- Real life aspects of the designing such as – a side placed finger print scanner, 3. 3.5mm audio Jack to plug in headphones/earphones 6 AIDS, standard micro USB cable for charging and data transfer, and Support memory card up to 32GB.
- Another modern type of Victoria 3 kitchen sink faucet is the olive green color variant.
Cons:
- First, due largely to the fact that HMD Global is a relatively young company the company may have issues establishing its brand identity among key smartphone making brands.
- This is because the factor of after-sales service delivery, software updates particularly for the important interfaces connecting customers to the business, will significantly influence the level of trust reposed in the company among consumers.
- It is unclear how the software experience and optimization compared to more recognized programs but the lack is unspecified.
- Extras such as FM radio are not available.
Conclusion:
HMD Atlas is an affordable Android companion device that boasts some pretty attractive hardware; a 6. a 4-inch IPS LCD panel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, 8 GB RAM, and high-performance cameras and 5,500 mAh battery for long-lasting power. It comes in the market with the initial price of $239. 99, they get really appear to be affordable. However, due to its young company, it is not very easy for HMD Global to establish its brand and provide good after-sales services as well as timely software updates.
However, the generally proposed problems do not seem to make Atlas a bad choice of the affordable smartphone with rather powerful characteristics. In my opinion, the HMD Atlas has the right concept to target the budget segment and make some difference but only the company’s ability to focus on the issues related to brand image and go with the software interface performances can decide its fate. Well, dear readers what do you think? Can the HMD Atlas revolutionize a cheap smartphone market or its problems will only hinder it?Â
