The HMD Skyline is a new smartphone that will be launch by HMD Global who holds the exclusive rights to the Nokia brand on mobile phones. The smartphone has a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The display has a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2400, which results in bright colors. The high-resolution screen offers very clear visuals. The design style of the device is square and fat, with a thick frame and sharp angles, similar to the Lumia 920. Another notable feature is that the device has been learned about. There will be a yellow colour variant of the Smart Hub which is expected to support a punch-hole display and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Launch Date:

The device is yet to release and is expected to hit the market in July this year with the specific date to be on July 10.

Comparison With Nighthawk:

The Nighthawk’s construction will be dealt with a significantly weaker Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 soc, and a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery. The HMD Skyline is in fact a mid-tier smartphone. While its design may bring back some memories, the device comes packed with very modern-day features. Here are some of its key pros and cons:

Pros:

6. 67-inch AMOLED Display: The interior of the Skyline model will be equipped with an impressive 6. This smartphone possesses a large 67 inches AMOLED display. The display has a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2400, which makes the colors bright. The smartphone’s display offers very high clarity.

Android 14 and Memory Card Slot: It has a memory card slot and it operates Android 14, where users can apply the memory card if they want to increase memory size.

108MP Primary Camera: The OPPO F19 has a 64MP primary camera with two more supporting lenses: an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP DTOF camera. The OPPO F19 Pro has a triple 48MP primary camera. The OPPO F19 Pro’s triple camera setup is coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP mono lens.

NFC and Fingerprint Unlock: This phone also has NFC and comes with an in-display fingerprint scan for the biometric authentication of users.

4900mAh Battery Capacity: It has a massive 4900mAh battery with the support of fast charging of 33W charging capacities to ensure you have long battery hours.

5G Network Support: The Skyline also helps to support 5G networks, meaning users of Skyline can access data at higher rates and with no disruptions.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Processor: The device’s efficiency is enhanced with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. As a result, the device delivers powerful performance and efficient battery usage.

IP67 Protection: The phone has the IP67 protection to make it have a cover against dust and moisture.

Cons:

Pricing: While the former may justifiably be priced as a premium, the latter could raise the alarm with consumers who are watchful of their wallets.

Limited Availability: The Skyline may be first offered in only certain areas. This could cause another problem in terms of the supply of the Ford car and launching difficulties on the markets.

Design Subjectivity: This is because the style adopted in the production of these devices takes the old school fashion. However, this might not suit the current generation that desires devices with classy sleek appearance.

Conclusion:

The HMD Skyline is known as a mid-range phone. It is designed with the touch of classic Nokia phones, but with enhanced features. Of its main parameters, one can mention a 6. The Sony 67-inch OLED TV comes with an AMOLED display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The TV also features 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a triple rear camera for photography. The battery size is 4900 mAh with a 33 W fast charging configuration. The device runs on the latest Android 14 operating system and features NFC capabilities. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance. The benefits include a large screen and the most up-to-date software. The primary camera has an awesome resolution and also has a prolonged battery life.

The only disadvantages are no provision of FM radio, may be costly to some users and is not very much available in the market. All in all, I believe the HMD Skyline is a good option in choice for lovers of retro design equipped with fresh functionalities. Nevertheless, it may be sometimes quite expensive, and sometimes the public can access it rarely. This is an interesting question to ponder would you buy a smartphone that has a retro feel to it? The most essential part of any portable device is its battery. RAM is not as significant in a console as it is in a computer. The specs mentioned above can be questionable to some people whether they correspond to the price range of the HMD Skyline. There are several features that I believe will not be available in this device?
